Dear Friend, In light of recent political events, many of us are looking for ways to come together in community and take action. This desire led Charlie to ask himself, "what can I do? How can I help?" Thus, the People's Inaugural Ball was born!
Charlie Stein, Chelsea Norton, and a group of volunteer friends have worked to plan an evening of live music, entertainment and education at the Boulder Theater on January 20, 2017. More than a dozen local nonprofits in current need of volunteer support will be present at the event, allowing guests to learn more about how they can make a difference in our community.
All proceeds from the event will go directly to our participating nonprofits. This is an event by the people, for the people, and we hope you'll join us and spread the word so we can make it an evening to remember with impact that reaches far beyond the evening alone.

The "Twist and Shout" Summer Concert Series has been a favorite family-friendly event for people of all ages to enjoy a variety of contemporary and traditional performances. The "Twist and Shout" Summer Concert series typically runs from June through August, providing several opportunities to sit back, relax, listen, and grab a bowl of free ice cream at one of the Ward sponsored Ice Cream Socials - or just let the kids do some cartwheels! "Twist and Shout" Summer Concerts take place at various venues throughout the city on Thursday evenings at 7 p.m (click on the locations to find the venues). Over the years, "Twist and Shout" musicians and bands have provided a wide variety of crowd-pleasing performances including classic rock, top 40, blues, country, folk, and salsa. There will always be a performance to suite your taste - but don't miss the chance to see a free concert you might otherwise not have the opportunity to experience.
