The "Twist and Shout" Summer Concert series typically runs from June through August, providing several opportunities to sit back, relax, listen, and grab a bowl of free ice cream at one of the Ward sponsored Ice Cream Socials - or just let the kids do some cartwheels! "Twist and Shout" Summer Concerts take place at various venues throughout the city on Thursday evenings at 7 p.m (click on the locations to find the venues). Over the years, "Twist and Shout" musicians and bands have provided a wide variety of crowd-pleasing performances including classic rock, top 40, blues, country, folk, and salsa. There will always be a performance to suite your taste - but don't miss the chance to see a free concert you might otherwise not have the opportunity to experience.
